Aber Aber News Hubli.  A case has surfaced of the emerging Kannada actress killing her brother along with her 'live-in partner' and setting the dead body in the forest here.  The brother's objection to the sister's relationship is being stated as the reason for the murder.  Dharwad Superintendent of Police P Krishnakanth said on Tuesday that the young actress was in a relationship with a small real estate agent whose brother was opposing.  He told reporters, "Rakesh had become an obstacle in their love affair, so he was killed and burnt to death."

 According to police, on 12 April, a badly mutilated body was found in a plastic bag in the Devaragudihal forest.  After registering a case, the police set up a special team to nab the culprit.  Police said that he conducted a thorough investigation into the case and found that Rakesh Katwe, who worked as a housekeeper in the bar, was missing.  Investigation revealed that the victim's sister Shanya Katwe is in a relationship with Niaz and lives with him in a rented house.  Police said that the case was further investigated and Shanya Katwe, Niaz and 3 of his friends were taken into police custody.

 He said that during the investigation it was revealed that Niyaz's family members were also involved in the murder.  Krishnakanth said, "Prima facie it seems to be a matter of love affair.  We have not received any contact with any organization but the investigation into the case is going on. "It is noteworthy that Shanya is working for the first time in the film 'Chhota Bombay' which is yet to be released.
