 BJP State Spokesperson Mr. Singhdev said that Kumbakarni of the State Government did not break down even after supplying the said medicine and found to be non-standard in the investigation two months ago, and on March 12, five more of Povidone Iodine sent to the Drug Department for investigation.  Samples have been found to be non-standard.  Mr. Singhdev alleged that the Department of Pharmaceuticals is engaged in suppressing the case by not taking any action.  Mr. Singhdev said that ever since the Congress government came to power in the state, corruption cases are being set up on every front.  The repeated detection of povidone iodine antiseptic solution (slurry) sent by CGMSC to government hospitals in the state is the culmination of the ineffectiveness of the state government and its health ministry.  Mr. Singhdev said that the State Government will not be acquitted of the responsibility of this unforgivable act.  If there is no complaint about the inefficiency of this medicine for a long time, then this corruption of the Ministry of Health would be exposed and the corrupt officers who were playing with the health of the people of the state would be getting rich.
