abernews Raipur.  BJP President Vishnudev Sai said that Congress's public manifesto released at the time of assembly elections is now proving to be a bundle of lies.  When Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said in the assembly on March 14 this year that we have fulfilled 14 out of 36 promises but cannot give the time limit for the remaining 22 promises, then perhaps he was trying to explain that the remaining 22.  We will not fulfill the promises.  In its public manifesto, the Congress had promised the contractual, irregular, daily wage workers that they would be appointed on the vacant posts and they would not be retrenched under any circumstances.

 BJP President Vishnudev Sai said that contrary to the promise made in the public manifesto, the Bhupesh government is now making excuses to say that the daily wage workers hired after 1998 will not be eligible for regularization.

   Vishnudev Sai alleged that Bhupesh Sarkar was cheating on various government employees.  First of all, he freed the daily wage workers working in the Department of Tourism and Culture from work.  13000 contractual employees of National Health Mission, who are working 15-15 hours risking their lives in Corona, are victims of their promise.  Thousands of workers are waiting for regularization in Primary Health Center, District Hospital.  And the entire health department is on contract today.  Only 2,000 salary is being given to the part-time school sanitation workers in the state.  Most of the 47000 Safai Karamcharis are from the Scheduled Castes category.  Those who are only demanding to be converted from part time to full time employee so that their salary can be 10,000.  The government is sitting in silence on all these subjects.

   Mr. Sai said that before the election, Bhupesh Baghel and Chairman of Jan Manifesto Committee TS Singhdeo had gone to the forum of daily wage workers and announced that within 10 days of the formation of the Congress government, we would be regularized.  But today, even after 934 days have passed, instead of regularizing the employees, they are being fired by setting up various committees.

 BJP President Sai has demanded from the government to fulfill the promises made to thousands of irregular, contractual, daily wage workers working in various departments of the state.
